Our Ingredients are sourced fresh and local. We hunt down the best produce to give our classic recipes a uniquely New Zealand twist. We also recommend complementing our products with local breads and condiments to put make the dishes truly your own.

Vine Ripened Tomatoes

Our tomatoes are left on the vine to develop the best, rich flavour. Technically a fruit, tomatoes contain the carotene lycopene, one of the most powerful natural antioxidants.  We take fresh tomatoes retaining a degree of 'tartness'  for their bright red colour and addictively delicious flavour.

Butternut Pumpkin

We use NZ grown butternut pumpkin for its rich and silky texture, fresh savoury flavour and bright colour. Butternut pumpkin, is a sweet and versatile vegetable, and very popular for soups. Because of its tough skin, butternut pumpkin is one of the easier crops to manage and process. Rich in antioxidants and full of fibre, we do the hard work while you reap the benefits.

Smoked Kahawai

Indigenous to New Zealand’s coastal waters, the Omega 3-rich Kahawai is a Kiwi favourite. The fish is most commonly smoked for it's dark colour and stongly flavoured meat.  This succulent fish is a common ingredient in many a family fish pie, in fact it's rare to find any left over.


Vitamin rich, locally-sourced Kumara is a staple of many New Zealand households. Jam-packed with health benefits (fibre, complex carbohydrates, protein, Vitamins A, C and E, iron and potassium) and an unbeatable flavour, we couldn't look past the delicious red kumara for the Seasons kitchen.
